It’s rare that make freestyle performances; I always prefer to have ample time to prepare for a performance, to lean into the flow of the music and let the choreography to manifest.
When I found myself available at short notice for the Spykes Pole Dance & Fitness studio showcase down the road in Clonmel, I asked Stacey could I come along to watch. ‘Would you like to perform as well?’ says she. ‘I might as well!’ says I.
